In the past twenty years, three juveniles have been sentenced to
death in the USA and then exonerated. Two of the three come from
the New Orleans area.
Greg Kennedy was the prosecutor in the case of
Shareef Cousin,
a 17 year-old African-American. With some hush-hush scheming and
some tricks that would put the Artful Dodger to shame, Shareef was
framed and sentenced to death. The Louisiana Supreme Court threw the
conviction out, noting a catalogue of skullduggery by the
prosecution. |
